fs3|Hodges completed this new, $55 million public institution academic building with our team reviewing and tracking change orders. We additionally were responsible for facilitating communication between the CMAR and the owner and managed document processing and review. Our services included on-site project management during construction and closeout process. This project demonstrated our ability to deliver construction projects in a public institution while fully operational.

California State University San Bernardino is progressively updating the campus based on their Master Plan. The Center for Global Innovation (CGI) project is a key piece in improving the quality of life on campus. The building’s main function is to provide a central location on campus for the international programs and students. Located in the middle of campus along the main Coyote Walk, this building provides a space close to the library and dining services for students to collaborate. The CGI building also supports the need for larger instructional spaces across all departments. Designed to LEED Platinum standards, the CGI building has the infrastructure to support solar panels in the future. Working with the University’s Project Manager and Inspector of Record (IOR) as representatives of the owner, our team was responsible for reviewing change orders, documentation, organizing final building inspections, developing and maintaining documents to track, review, and organize RFIs, submittals, inspections, certified payroll, CORs, and CRBs, coordinating with CMAR, AOR, IOR, CxA, and campus facilities, and reviewing cost and schedule.
