The UCSD Nuevo East Student Housing is a 712,000 SF, $220M development with 1,374 student beds in one and four-bedroom apartments and townhomes spread over 5 low and high-rise buildings. The community has amenities like support spaces, laundry, fitness rooms, admin offices, multi-purpose rooms, community space, plaza, community gardens, and 550 new parking spaces.
fs3H provided a detailed schedule review for this project with monthly progress reports. We also conducted a delay analysis and created a proposed resolution and analyzed and identified project risks. Significant soil contamination and abatement during the demolition and grading phase posed a challenge to the schedule, which was mitigated through the delay and risk analysis. This project was delivered Design-Build.
